Jack Steam Trilogy

The Earthlings said they came in peace.

They lied.

A person standing with their back to the viewer, looking at a rocket launching into the sky with clouds of smoke around. The sky is pinkish, with a large white moon or planet visible. The text on the cover reads 'JACK STEAM & THE EARTHLINGS' at the top and 'A Jack Steam novel by Travis Johnston' at the bottom.

"My parents need me. I can't let fear win. Ever again."

It's been three years since the Earthlings first landed on Toren, but Jack's memories of that day haven't faded. The strange visitors told the people of Janoria that they had come in peace. They lied.

Jack's people may not believe him, but Jack knows who these Earthlings really are: they're parentnappers, whose motives are far more sinister than the Janorians have been led to believe. And if the kingdom won't do anything about it, then Jack will just have to take the Earthlings on himself. Even if it means facing his worst fears.

At Jack's side is his best friend, Wes, who has a knack with magical artifacts--mysterious items, such as light-sticks, and something called a microwave oven. When the two friends meet a cloaked stranger in the Cursed Land, an adventure begins that hurls them into the path of the Earthlings and their dreaded leader.

Soon Jack learns that the Earthlings' secrets go deeper than even he expected, and that their plot, if not stopped, will rip the heart out of Jack's world. Literally.
